A Stirring in the Cauldron – May Update

The Food Season has arrived. The Farmers Market summer season has started. The fields are plowed and waiting for the seeds. The Cauldron is bubbling up too with the heat of the summer sun.

Cauldron Food School has three events this month.

Soup 101 – Thursday, May 5th, – Learn how to make delicious soups. This class is ideal for young people learning to make healthy food choices.

Knife Skills 101 – Thursday, May 12 – Learn efficient knife skills for all your culinary endeavours.

Chicken Cutting 101 – Thursday, May 19th, – Our most popular course, fun and super practical.

All our classes are presented by our Master Food Instructor Dave Neil. He has many years of teaching with the Algonquin Culinary School and many years in the kitchen. Each course is tailored for you. So come on out.

This month’s Chef’s Meet Up, Monday, May 30th, we will host something special. We are working on something that we believe will make our food industry community feel unified. Stay tuned for more info.

In the kitchen, we still have lots of space for you to rent the kitchen, the education lounge (see the photo below), and the prep spaces. Contact us for a tour.
