Conjuring a ghost – Welcome Detroit Soul Food

Image may contain: textThe Cauldron Kitchen would like to officially welcome Detroit Soul Food. We are super excited and proud to have this ghost restaurant start up in our kitchens. Ghost restaurant??

Detroit Soul Food is operating a special food business model called a ghost restaurant. The restaurant is entirely online using special food apps like Skipthedishes and UberEats. Employing this model reduces overhead like space for seating and servers, but maintains the essence of the restaurant, the food.

Detroit Soul Food is authentic American Southern cuisine brought to you by Chef LeRoy. He summons his grandmother’s recipes which come from Georgia and whips up a feast delivered straight to the comfort of your home. There is nothing new about food delivery, but today it all changes. Tonight, Detroit Soul Food is making fried chicken, chicken and waffles, mac n cheese with bacon, and cornbread accessible to all of Ottawa.

Detroit Soul Food will operate out of the Cauldron Kitchen every Tuesday to Saturday from 7 to 11:30 pm. Order on UberEats App and get this delicious food to your door. Did I tell you about the deep fried cookies? Yummy! So go already and order some soul food and share the experience with family and friends.
